The boats were loaded with consumer products and food - electrical appliances, squid, crabs, fried worms, chicken guts and fruit worth about 500,000 baht in total. Capt Wuthichat said Cambodians in seaside communities seemed to be suffering from serious shortages of consumer goods. He said Thai authorities were focusing on stopping fuel smuggling from Thailand to Cambodia.
