Only Mr Juma, Mr Ochieng and Mr Onyango turned up while the other three aspirants sent representatives. Karan’s victory was nullified on December 2018 by the Supreme Court on grounds that the election was marred by malpractices. Mr Karan had appealed to the Supreme Court after the Court of Appeal ruled that his election be nullified.
