Credit: ValveValve has announced that six teams have been directly invited to The International 2024 Dota 2 tournament following their performance over the last season of competition, and that they will be joined by ten other teams who make it through regional qualifiers. Team Spirit, Xtreme Gaming, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Gaming Gladiators and BetBoom Team have all received direct invitations to the tournament. The other 10 teams that will play at The International 2024 will be decided through the regional qualifiers, which are due to kick off next month. The China, South America, Southeast Asia and Western Europe qualifiers will have the top two teams qualify for The International 2024, while the North America and Eastern Europe qualifiers will only send one team each to the tournament. With the dust settling after a couple of massive patches in the last week, Valve also announced the final dates for The International 2024 in the same blog post.
