SI Alam said the six were remanded for two days in the arms and explosives cases each, and six days in the anti-terrorism case. RAB had arrested the six during raids in Dhaka’s Uttar Bishil between Tuesday night and early on Wednesday. A ‘huge amount’ of explosives, firearms and ammunition were found with the six arrested, according to the elite police unit. However, defence lawyer Mujibur Rahman Dulal had pleaded with the court to release them on bail, claiming his clients were innocent. Shah Ali Police Station SI Anuj Kumar Sarkar had sought 10 days to question them after showing them arrested in three cases started under the Arms Act, Explosives Act and Anti Terrorism Act.
