IPOH: Perak Health Committee chairman A. Sivanesan (pic) clarifies that a man believed to be carrying the novel coronavirus had indeed visited Pusing in Batu Gajah. When contacted, he said the man has not been confirmed as a patient yet, and is currently being monitored at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital. "We can confirm that a man suspected of having the coronavirus did visit Pusing butwe cannot confirm whether he is really a carrier," Sivanesan said. Sivanesan had on Monday (Feb 10) denied that a coronavirus patient had visited Pusing, which is the patient's hometown. This followed a report by a Chinese daily that the man had returned during the Chinese New Year celebration.
