NEW DELHI, Feb 7, 2024 (BSS) - Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud today said that the prevailing situation in Myanmar is a "worrying factor for Bangladesh and India" as both the countries share border with Myanmar. Bangladesh Ambassador to India Md. Mustafizur Rahman, PCI President Gautam Lahiri and officials from Bangladesh High Commission were present on the occasion. Later, Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud held bilateral meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar at Hyderabad House here this evening. "Welcome to India, FM Dr. Hasan Mahmud of Bangladesh...Our discussions today will strengthen India -Bangladesh Maitri," Jaishankar posted on the "X" previously Tweeter prior to holding bilateral meeting.
