Amrita Rao who has given her house to tenants have decided to forgo the rent from March to July, due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis across the nation. She confirmed the report during an interaction with IANS and revealed that most of her tenants are freelancers and have no guaranteed monthly incomes. Amrita further stated that she had to handle the situation and become more understanding of the rent-payers. I feel the situation calls for me to be understanding and help them in my best capacity." Meanwhile, on the work front, Amrita was last seen in Thackeray in which Nawazuddin Siddiqui played the titular role.
