The request was consented to by the Crown and granted by Justice of the Peace Walter Rojek. Tabbara, 35, the MP for Ontario riding Kitchener South-Hespeler, was charged with two counts of assault, one count of break and enter and commit an indictable offence, and one count of criminal harassment on April 10.
