KARACHI: In observance of the World Human Rights Day, the Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh (VMPS) in collaboration with Jeay Sindh Qaumi Muhaz-Aresar (JSQM-A) on Sunday staged a sit-in outside Karachi Press Club (KPC) against mysterious disappearances of Sindhi political and social activists. A large number of people, including JSQM-A chairman Mir Aalam Marri, Ameer Hassan, Jeay Sindh Mahaz Chairman Khaliq Junejo, VMPS leader Sorath Lohar, families of missing persons and their supporters participated in the protest. “In Sindh, 20 activists of JSQM-A are missing. “In the year 2017, hundreds of political and human rights activists have gone missing, but the government has not taken any solid action to recover these people,” he said. She appealed to all human rights organizations and international media to help recover their missing people.
