CAIRO - 8 November 2020: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has stressed the need for unified efforts to uphold values of co-existence and tolerance among the different religions. President Sisi voiced his rejection of all terrorist acts, stressing that extremism has nothing to do with Islam. Egypt is ready to boost international efforts aimed to combat terrorism and consolidate the values of tolerance, the president said. He further praised efforts exerted by Egypt, under President Sisi, to promote inter-religious dialogue. Meanwhile, President Sisi voiced Egypt's unshakable stance towards the Libyan crisis based on the outcome of the Berlin conference and Cairo Declaration.
