During the tour, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Assistant Head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Ahmed Al-Azazi briefed the President on the 140-km development project, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement. Sisi said that new corridors, which are currently being established, should help accommodate traffic movement for the coming 20 years. He added that he is closely following with all the projects that are being currently implemented all over the country. The Transport Ministry has received more financial allocations over the past years compared to other ministries, Sisi said. The cost of constructing these roads is very huge, but we will start work now to end the problems of the area, he added.
