President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrives in Washington on Monday for a visit of several days, during which he will meet his US counterpart President Donald Trump. The ministerial delegation accompanying the president includes Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry; Trade and Industry Minister Tariq Qabeel; Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr; and Finance Minister Amr al-Garhi. Sisi and Trump are expected to discuss a number of issues, notably: combating terrorism and illegal immigration; the situation in the Middle East; and the crises in Palestine, Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Libya. The delegation provided the officials with pictures, videos and other files documenting the group's terrorism activities. The American side pointed to the need to solve the problem of the Americans suspects implicated in the case of NGO funding in Egypt.
