This was perhaps best illustrated last week when the singer went directly to Apple CEO Tim Cook to rectify the fact that Siri has been saying Babs’ name wrong all this time. “She pronounces my name wrong,” Streisand said. “(It’s) Streisand with a soft ‘s,’ like sand on the beach. I called the head of Apple, Tim Cook, and he delightfully agreed to have Siri change the pronunciation of my name, finally, with the next update on September 30. But perhaps it’s easier just to blame Siri for this one as well.
