A police incident connected to a student triggered a lockdown at a Vancouver high school Friday morning, but the school is now back to normal. Sir Charles Tupper Secondary on East 24th Avenue was locked down around 10:30 a.m. PT while police dealt with a nearby incident. But messages to parents from some of the students inside had caused concern when the students described the school on lockdown and said they were confused why. School staff confirmed to CBC there was an incident nearby and the school was locked down. At Livingstone Elementary School nearby students were also being kept inside for the afternoon "out of an abundance of caution," according to the Vancouver School Board.
