Around eight lakh students take the Plus-Two examinations. Just three lakh seats were available in arts and science colleges in the district. There should be a streamlined admission process, said V. Eswaran, the party’s State youth wing secretary. The present system forces parents to run from one institution to another seeking admission, he said.
