Singing students spread safety messages with policeSUPPLIED St James' Catholic School helped the police sing a safety message, then got to quizz the officers afterward. After a cop karaoke video was a smash hit earlier this year, Manawatū police decided it was time to put their voices to the test once again to spread Christmas safety messages. The police went to St James' Catholic School in Palmerston North to get help singing a song about keeping safe on the roads to the tune of We Wish you a Merry Christmas. It was then suggested young people get involved in singing, so St James' School was approached. St James' Catholic School principal Teresa Edwards said the pupils enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of the song.
