Kevin James Loibl, the man who shot “The Voice” singer Christina Grimmie dead, reportedly had a history of violence. He shot at her and then killed himself after being tackled by Grimmie’s brother. In 2013, Loibl and his father’s fiancee Dawn were involved in an argument at their Florida home. According to a police report obtained by tmz.com, police were called to Loibl’s home on two previous occasions. The police had noted that she was “very intoxicated” and the matter wasn’t taken any further.
