New Zealanders will soon be able to enter Singapore quarantine free, under a new system that will begin next month. New Zealand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade imposed a worldwide “do not travel” notice for all New Zealanders in March. Unless an exemption is made for Singapore, travel insurance will be difficult to obtain. Travellers will also be required to take two Covid-19 tests, and return negative results, before leaving managed isolation facilities. Singapore Airlines has regular flights scheduled to Auckland and Christchurch over the next few months, while Air New Zealand is yet to resume services.
