Singapore's manufacturing output continued its decline in July, with demand down in most clusters apart from precision engineering, according to an Economic Development Board (EDB) media release today, Channel News Asia reports. Excluding biomedical manufacturing, output fell by 5.2 per cent. On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, manufacturing output increased by 1.6 percent. Excluding biomedical manufacturing, output grew by 10 percent. The aerospace segment remained weak as the volume of aircraft repair and maintenance work remained low amid the coronavirus pandemic, said EDB.
