The race was due to take place across the weekend 1-3 October but will now no longer take place. It's the second year in a row the race won't be taking place in Singapore, with last year's event cancelled due to "continuing nationwide restrictions on construction and business activities" brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The BBC say a second race could be held at at Austin in the USA although the other two nations are also strong alternatives.
