Sing Tao News Corporation (1105) saw its online traffic grow significantly during the first half this year driven by new modes of communication and increased use of online media during the Covid-19 pandemic. The monthly page views of Sing Tao Daily's website surged 76 percent year-on-year during the first six months this year. Meanwhile, The Standard achieved a 137 percent year-on-year increase in monthly browsers and an 89 percent increase in monthly pageviews as it enhanced its website to provide more breaking news, the group said. The group saw a net loss of HK$61.29 million in the first half, compared to a net loss of HK$7.68 million last year. The stake of YLH had been transferred to Ever Port, held by an engineer named Kenneth Hsu Kin.
