Warner Bros Discovery is proposing to shut down its news wing, Newshub, from the end of June this year. Discovery ANZ said today’s news was the result of ongoing pressures in the New Zealand media landscape. We’ve now reached a stage where any further reduction in costs means proposing major changes,” he said in a statement. “This is why we are proposing to shut down the newsroom.
