Sindh sees 69 coronavirus deaths in two days; 310 in critical condition


KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah on Saturday said that 69 more coronavirus patients had died in Sindh within the past two days, taking the virus death toll to 465 in the province. Meanwhile, 1,247 new cases emerged and the patients tally hit 13,623 in the last 24 hours since the CM’s last update. “I am sorry to add that 310 patients are in critical condition while 68 of them have been shifted to ventilators,” he said. The chief minister said that 522 patients had recovered and returned to normal life. Regarding the country’s most recent plane crash, the chief minister gave details of the passengers who died on May 22.
