Sindh allows vaccination without CNIC


Share:KARACHI - To boost the vaccine rollout, the Sindh authorities after getting the approval from Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday allowed inoculation for citizens without the mandatory condition of CNIC. Jinnah Hospital Karachi Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) Executive Director Dr Jamali said, “Citizens can bring birth certificates and parents’ CNIC and are bound to provide their mobile number.”Dr Seemin Jamali said that the provision has been allowed after approval from the Sindh Chief Minister. This was stated by Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement issued on Tuesday. Syed Murad Ali Shah said that 19,427 samples were tested which detected 2,438 cases that constituted 12.5 percent current detection rate. CM Syed Murad Ali Shah urged people to abide by the SOPs issued by the government.
