The Sindh Assembly on Thursday adopted a resolution condemning the rape and murder of a minor girl in Mardan and referred three government bills to the relevant committees, observes Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) in its daily factsheet. The Sindh Assembly met for three hours and 11 minutes. The deputy speaker presided over the sitting for two hours and 32 minutes while a member of Panel of Chairpersons presided over the rest of the proceedings. As many as 40 (24pc) lawmakers were present at the outset and 39 (23pc) at the adjournment of sitting. The House unanimously adopted a resolution condemning the rape and murder of a four-year old girl in Mardan.
