In July 2011, serial bomb blasts in Mumbai saw 27 dead and 127 injured.Delhi too saw many terror attacks. Since the 1985 serial blasts through transistor bombs used by Babbar Khalsa that killed over 80, it had seen a lull till 2005. On October 29, 2005 serial blasts at Paharganj, Sarojini Nagar and a DTC bus at Govindpuri killed 50 and injured 105.Delhi saw bomb blasts in September, 2008 killing 23 and injuring 156. Seven bomb blasts in local trains on July 11, 2006 killed 187 people and injured 817. Three years later, on September 7, 2011, a bomb blast at Delhi High Court killed 15 and injured 79.
