Boise-based JR Simplot Company continues to grow through acquisitions. Turf Ventures provides turf maintenance products and services throughout the Midwest. The firm will be folded into Simplot’s Turf and Horticulture unit, which is part of the company’s agribusiness division. “We are proud to welcome these employees to Simplot and look forward to continuing to help customers meet their turf and horticulture goals,” Simplot Turf & Horticulture General Manager Barry MacBan said. The Simplot company is privately held by the descendants of namesake JR Simplot.
