According to Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool have placed Inzaghi on their shortlist of possible replacements for Klopp at the end of the campaign, along with the likes of Xabi Alonso, Roberto De Zerbi and Ruben Amorim. However, the report states that Inzaghi would reject the current Premier League leaders out of hand to stay on and continue his project with Inter.
