KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Property Bhd is developing an affordable housing project, Harmoni 1, in the City of Elmina, Shah Alam with a gross development value (GDV) of RM155mil. Managing director Datuk Jauhari Hamidi said the project would be the first to adopt the divergent dwelling design (D3) concept. He said the company would complete two prototypes of the D3 concept house by the middle of the year before pursuing the actual project in the third quarter. “We are confident that this project will receive a good response based on the price, quality and standard of the houses,” he told reporters after the signing of memorandum of understanding between Sime Darby Property and Construction Research Institute of Malaysia here, yesterday.
