Rajeev RavidasGangtok: The apolitical Nationalist Sikkim United Organisation (NSUO) on Tuesday iterated its demand for the introduction of Inner Line Permit (ILP) in the state to check the influx of outsiders, a move opposed by tourism stakeholders. "It is very important to introduce ILP to prevent the influx of people from outside to Sikkim. Tourism stakeholders in Sikkim, however, fear the introduction of any measure that would hamper hassle-free entry of tourists into the state could affect tourism. Around 15 lakh tourists visit Sikkim annually. Gyalsten, spokesman for the ruling Sikkim Democratic Party said: "The government of Sikkim is seized of the matter (influx).
