The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) March’s report showed a decline in the quality of mobile internet browsing (HTTP Browsing Test) in the Greater Cairo area, after 16,336 attempts to test the internet browsing quality through the three mobile networks—Vodafone, Orange, and Etisalat—of which 1,275 attempts were interrupted, which is an unprecedented number of interrupted attempts registered by the NTRA, because of an increased number of interrupted attempts through the Vodafone network. Orange was tested through 5,437 internet browsing attempts, of which 14 were interrupted. Vodafone was tested through 5,043 attempts, of which 1,275 attempts were interrupted. The NTRA tested the quality of Orange services through 2,721 attempts, of which 18 were interrupted and 9 were blocked. It examined the three mobile operators video streaming quality through 81,793 attempts, of which 268 were blocked and 316 were interrupted.
