SECTION 8 residents of Shah Alam have asked the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) to install a signboard at a traffic light at Jalan Liku 8/1 to indicate that motorists can turn left if there are no vehicles coming from the opposite direction. A concerned resident, Kamaruddin Hassan, said over the years motorists had been driving along Persiaran Kayangan (from Section 7) and turning left into Jalan Liku 8/1 even when the traffic light was red. “But on certain occasions, motorists turning left had been stopped by Road Transport Department (RTD) personnel and were issued with summons. I personally have used this road many times without any problems. He said to avoid confusion and ensure the smooth flow of traffic, the council would install the signboard as soon as possible.
