Storm Signal Number 2 is hoisted in Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Samar and Biliran. In the Visayas, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Northern Cebu, Capiz, Aklan, Northern Iloilo, Northern Negros Occidental and Northern Mindanao were placed under Signal Number 1. "At 10:00 p.m. today, the center of Tropical Storm 'Urduja' was estimated based on all available data at 240 km east of Borogan City, Eastern Samar," the country's weather agency said. In Eastern Samar, the towns of Guiuan, Guinapondan, Balangiga, Giporlos and San Juan reported flooding. Landslides were also reported in Barangay Mountainside, Tacloban City and in San Julian town, Eastern Samar.
