Sierra Leonean President Maada Bio on Thursday directed the management of the Sierra Leone Port Authority to take over the operations of the CARGO TRACKING NOTE effective 15th February 2019 for a period of ninety (90) days. This will allow Government to restructure the operations and management of the CARGO TRACKING NOTE system. Monrovia – Sierra Leonean President Maada Bio has with immediate effect terminated his government’s CARGO TRACKING NOTE agreement with Global Tracking and Maritime Solutions, which recently signed a similar agreement with the George Weah-led government in Liberia. This will allow Government to restructure the operations and management of the CARGO TRACKING NOTE system. Ngegba was subject of a major investigation by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), stemming from the ratification of the tracking system in Sierra Leone.
