SIBU: The magistrate's court here sentenced a 52-year-old man to two years' jail on Tuesday (May 21), for carrying out a job scam. The accused, Febian Anak Siges, pleaded guilty to a charge under Section 420 of the Penal Code for the offence. Magistrate Stella Augustine Druce ordered for the sentence to be upheld separately with other jail sentences that the accused had received for similar offences elsewhere. Febian had earlier received jail sentences of between one to four years in 15 cheating cases committed in Kuching, Padawan, Miri, Sibu and Kapit. The deputy public prosecutor in the case was Mohd Azri Bin Zakaria.
