On-demand shipping service Shyp is expanding to more parts of the Los Angeles area Tuesday, and planning a new feature to accommodate businesses with bulk shipping needs. Since then, other L.A. companies have used Shyp for corporate package fulfillment, including signage firm Enplug, dog-walking service Wag and branded content company Social Native. Shyp Chief Executive Kevin Gibbon said the company is working to make its service more business friendly. The company partnered with EBay in March, allowing sellers on the e-commerce platform to choose Shyp as an option when they send items to buyers. But the bigger opportunity, he said, lies in businesses, because they are more likely to ship larger volumes at higher frequencies.
