[Photo/Stafford Ondego]The Kenya national rugby seven’s teams will kick start their 2021 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series campaign in May in the condensed World 7s series scheduled, World Rugby announced on Wednesday. World Rugby said the 2021 World 7s Series will include five women’s and four men’s rounds, with the addition of a further two potential men’s events under discussion. The 2021 Series kicks off with back-to-back women’s events in Marcoussis, Paris on 15-16 and 22-23 May. Kenya’s Billy Odhiambo is tackled in the men's sevens rugby match between England and Kenya during day one of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens series at FMG Stadium in Hamilton on January 25, 2020. This will create two additional invitational places for teams to participate in the men’s 2021 Series events, with invitational teams to be announced in due course.
