India will always come forward to help Bangladesh when a natural disaster strikes, said Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Harsh Vardhan Shringla on Thursday. The high commissioner also thanked Bangladesh Navy, Chittagong district administration and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the cooperation for relief distribution activities. Thanking the Indian government for the relief, Zillur said another ship from India was on its way to Chittagong port with relief supplies. The rescued Bangladeshi fishermen were also formally handed over to Bangladesh Navy in the ceremony. The Indian navy ship was carrying relief supplies to Bangladesh when it came across the survivors and a dead body.
