He specifically referred to the progress that Bangladesh made over the last 10 years, reports the UNB. Shringla made the remarks while delivering a speech at his farewell reception in Dhaka on Sunday. The high commissioner, who is set to leave Dhaka on Monday, said India, as a best friend and neighbour, wants to see a prosperous, stable and peaceful Bangladesh. "I've found the people of Bangladesh to be very generous, hardworking and helpful," he said.
