And finally the movie-going public will get to watch the Malay horror drama Dukun in cinemas beginning Thursday after being kept in the dark for more than 10 years. Helmed by award-winning director Dain Said, the film was completed way back in 2007 but never saw a release. Although no official statement was given on why the film was delayed or on its sudden release, production company Astro Shaw posted the film's official April 5 premiere date on its Instagram account (@astroshaw) yesterday. Dukun centres on a conflicted lawyer, Karim, who is searching for his lost child, Nadia. Dukun also stars Faizal Hussein, Bront Palarae, Namron, Elyana, Hasnul Rahmat, Soffi Jikan and Chew Kin Wah.
