KUALA LUMPUR: Ejen Ali The Movie has been certified as a RM20 million blockbuster film in just two weeks at the box office. Having recorded 1.7 million admissions to date, it has also received excellent rating by Internet movie database, IMDb at 9.4 (over 10). Its co-producers Primeworks Studios and WAU Animation today announced that the film’s encouraging performance was boosted by the overwhelming glowing reviews from audience who turned up in droves for repeat viewings at the cinemas. “Ejen Ali The Movie marks a new milestone for Primeworks Studios as it has emerged as the biggest movie in our studio’s nearly 25-year history of making films,” said Primeworks Studios chief executive officer Datuk Ahmad Izham Omar.
