Shots fired outside Calgary's Central Library


Police responded to reports of a shooting near the Central Library in downtown Calgary on Monday afternoon. It's not yet known if anyone was injured, police said. A witness told CBC News they saw a man fire four shots toward a group of three or four people, but it didn't appear that anyone was hit. Police asked the public to avoid the area of Fourth Street S.E. between Eighth and Ninth Avenues as officers investigated.
