A Countdown customer left a store disgusted after discovering a packet of shaved chicken "covered in mould". The discovery was made by a shopper at Mangere Mall Countdown at 11.30am yesterday. She tapped my shoulder to show me the packet and I could see it was covered in mould. She thanked me and called her supervisor," the woman told the Herald. The Countdown supervisor said the store was taking measures to ensure the incident did not repeat itself.
