Share TweetBy MB OnlineShopee Philippines released their official statement after the Blackpink meet-and-greet event held last June 6, 2019, that affected 119 fans. “Shopee clarified that the number of tickets for the fans was not reallocated for celebrities and influencers. “We understand that fans are frustrated and upset at this, particularly in light of other issues concerning the Shopee X BLACKPINK meet-and-greet,” it said. Shopee said that they already offered each of the 119 affected fans a full refund of the amount spent during the campaign including travel costs if they traveled from outside of Metro Manila.
