The owner of the Village Shop in Malahide, north Co Dublin, Amy only found out the previous night that she had sold the winning ticket when officials from National Lottery HQ dropped by for a visit. "It was just unbelievable news," she said, adding that she hopes the lucky winner is one of their regular customers - and they keep coming to her shop. The shop previously sold a Lotto Plus 1 winning ticket worth €300,000. In the meantime, the winning ticket is being held by headquarters for safe keeping. "The people who live in Malahide already know us and the people who are coming to Malahide in the future, we are definitely your lucky shop - you should visit," she added.
