Shootings stalled as FWICE, CINTAA demands for safety, payment security yet to be met

Members of The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and the Cine and Television Artists’ Association (CINTAA) have been asked by the association to not begin shooting for TV shows as safety measures, as well as payments onset, is an issue that has not reached an agreement. A press release was issued late Monday which insisted that producers’ associations are yet to adhere to necessary measures to ensure the safety of all artists and technicians. Reports state that several TV shows were all set to begin shooting from Tuesday, however, CINTAA-FWICE has asked members to wait until all concerns are addressed. All the outstanding dues of our members should be cleared prior to the resumption of the shootings." There is still uncertainty looming large."
