One man is dead following a shooting in Oakville Sunday night. and Sawmill St. just after 7 p.m. for the report of gun shots, and located the victim, who was already deceased. The shooting took place in a residential area. The scene has been roped off and forensic identification has been brought in. Police say there is not a lot of detail available yet, but that they do not believe there is a threat to public safety.
