JOHN KIRK-ANDERSON/STUFF Police cordon part of Dickson Cres, Hornby, after Paul Stockford shot a man in March 2017. Defence counsel Anselm Williams told the court Stockford was on the right track when he was engaged with his family. Judge Farish told him the shot he fired could have been fatal, and he could have been facing a life sentence.
