A beautiful wedding photo shoot for a California couple went awry when a massive wave swept them off an ocean side rock and into the sea. The soggy incident was captured by a witness from a lookout point near the Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach. The Laguna Beach Fire Department arrived to the scene and saved the couple using a rescue tube. Beaches in the Laguna Beach area reopened in April after nearly two months closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 'Particularly on the Fourth of July when there were fireworks... it looked like sardines in a can,' said Laguna Beach Mayor Pro Tem Steve Dicterow.
