Investigations have revealed that Renuka, whose birthday fell on September 18, had a desire to mark the occasion in Dubai. Moreover, her plans to attend a relative's birthday celebration in Delhi were also thwarted by her husband's unresponsiveness. According to the police official, Renuka, in a fit of rage, allegedly delivered a forceful punch to Nikhil's face. A case under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for murder has been registered against her.
